Psalm 3:5 I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.
How amazing is that? If the Lord does not sustain us, we would never wake up again. If He wishes to take us back to Him right about now, He can. Because He is God. Thank You Lord for sustaining and providing for us.
Psalm 4:3 Know that the Lord has set apart the godly for Himself; the Lord will hear when I call to Him.
This is the assurance we have in God. He hears us when we call. Take heart in that. Keep the faith. (:
Psalm 5:11-12 11 But let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them sing for joy. Spread Your protection over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You. 12 For surely, O Lord, You bless the righteous; You surround them with Your favour as with a shield.
This is the JOY of our salvation. God first chose to love us, that we may love Him back. What privilege it is to just dwell in His presence.
When Christ first come into our lives, we have freedom. This freedom that we have isn't that of the world. Instead, it is the freedom to say 'NO' to our sinful nature. In addition to that, Christ died for our sins long before we were born and has already won the battle. The spiritual battle that is. Thus we all can lead a victorious christian life because the victory is already ours!
Your greatness indeed has no boundaries. Amen. (:
